(Miami, Florida – May 8, 2025) The First & Fifth project, a 45-story luxury multifamily tower in Downtown Miami, has received unanimous approval from the Historic & Environmental Preservation Board (HEPB). Designed to reflect Miami’s early 20th-century Venetian architectural heritage, the tower features striking arches inspired by Venice’s Doge Palace. Spanning over 700,000 square feet, it will offer more than 500 residential units with premium finishes, sweeping city views, and a comprehensive amenity package.
Located at 49 NW 5th Street—directly across from Miami Central Station, the project boasts a perfect transit score and walkable access to key destinations including Miami Dade College, the federal courthouse, Miami Worldcenter, and the Kaseya Center. The approval highlights a thoughtful blend of modern development and historical preservation, reinforcing a vision that respects the city’s architectural legacy while supporting continued urban growth.
