PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Landscape Design Workshop was brought on to develop a transformative vision for the beach-side area of L’Hermitage, an expansive 10-acre oceanfront community featuring two residential towers. Situated in a prime location with breathtaking ocean views and direct beach access, this underutilized area offered a unique opportunity for something truly special.

The new design embraces the natural beauty of the coastline, creating an inviting and dynamic space that enhances the residents' connection to the coastal environment. The vision incorporates meandering pathways that capture the organic flow of the shoreline, leading to secluded seating areas and lush gardens. Native plants and grasses, chosen for their resilience to wind and salt spray, create a sustainable and low-maintenance landscape that also reinforces the coastal theme.

Signature elements of the design feature a collection of beachfront terraces with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. These outdoor rooms include a shade pavilion furnished with comfortable outdoor living room furniture, dining tables, and movable louvers for adjustable shading. Additionally, the concept incorporates summer kitchens equipped with all the essential amenities for alfresco cooking and entertaining.
