PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Landscape Design Workshop envisioned a dynamic and interactive transformation for the ocean-side terrace of Regency Tower South, a beachfront community anchored by a 20-story residential tower. Located in the Galt Ocean Mile community in Ft. Lauderdale with spectacular ocean vistas and direct beach access, this terrace was an underutilized transitional space and presented an incredible opportunity for a remarkable transformation.

The new design celebrates the natural allure of the coastline, crafting an inviting and dynamic space that enhances the residents' connection to the oceanic environment. The landscape is enriched with lush seaside plantings chosen for their ability to withstand wind and salt spray, ensuring a sustainable and low-maintenance environment that complements the coastal context.

Highlighting the design are a series of outdoor rooms offering sweeping views of the Atlantic. These outdoor living areas feature entertaining spaces as well as contemplative garden nooks. Additionally, the concept includes a fully equipped summer kitchen with all the essential amenities for alfresco cooking and social gatherings.
