“AMLI MidTown Miami, which covers a three-block site with more than 700 apartments, is a perfect example of an urban transformation made powerful through landscape architecture,” says lead designer Erez Bar-Nur. “The project is layered over three major landscape levels, which can be inhabited on the horizontal plane, but also enjoyed visually and vertically. From the semi-public and public street levels to the fourth- and ninth-floor pool decks, the lush vegetation defines and links spaces, creating a density of experience. AMLI is a project that fits our era: sustainable, community-based, and responsive to emerging forms of flexible working and living spaces. Plus, the entire complex is LEED platinum certified. There is an abundance of green in all senses of the word.”
