Place Making: Banesco USA Headquarters
(City of Doral – January 30, 2023) Banesco USA has officially opened its new 60,000-square-foot headquarters in western Miami-Dade, the main offices are now at 3155 N.W. 77th Ave. in Doral.
Calixto "Cali" García-Vélez said the new headquarters houses 200 employees and it's much larger than Banesco's previous 18,000-square-foot office at 150 Alhambra Circle in Coral Gables. It's also a much more convenient place for its employees and clients to commute to, he added.
"We plotted the home addresses of all our employees on a map ... and it turns out the Doral area is the center of circumference of where our employees live," García-Vélez said. "This was also the most convenient place to commute to. We are adjacent to (State Road) 826 so for people who live and work in Miami or Broward it is an easy place to get to."
The new headquarters has collaborative meeting rooms and its own cafe where employees are served breakfast and lunch, he added. It also has plenty of room for Banesco USA to grow its workforce. "We have a strategic plan to hire 140 more people over the next three years. We are in major recruiting mode," he said.
