Landscape Design Workshop Wins 2020 MUSE Platinum Award

(City of Marathon, Florida Keys – October 9, 2020) With submissions numbering up to 4618 entries, submitted from more than 57 countries, Landscape Design Workshop has won Platinum recognition in the 2020 MUSE Design Awards competition for their Marlin Bay Yacht Club project created for SouthStar Communities.

Marlin Bay Yacht Club is a resort community reminiscent of a fishing village with Dutch Caribbean architecture. The 8-acre site is located in the island community of Marathon, a quaint tropical town in the Florida Keys.The resort is organized around a common area that opens up to the marina and provides a visual connection to the water. Overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, this project is designed to inspire, experience and forge a connection with the surrounding marine environment.

The MUSE Creative and MUSE Design Awards are international competitions catered to professionals from the creative and design industries, who help foster new horizons for their industries. Under the administration of the International Awards Associate (IAA), both awards are judged by a panel of professionals, who have received accolades in international settings. IAA oversees awards and recognition programs, assembles judging panels, and sets rigorous standards for both competitions.
