Landscape Design Workshop wins 2021 Architecture MasterPrize™ Award
(City of Miami – November 4, 2021) Landscape Design Workshop has won a 2021 Architecture MasterPrize™ Design Award in the Landscape Architecture / Urban Design category for their AMLI MidTown Miami project.
AMLI MidTown Miami is an urban transformation of a former rail yard, replacing a blighted area of the city with a vibrant new pedestrian-friendly community. The complex is large, spanning three city blocks in the heart of Miami, yet the lush landscape is dominant. The outdoor spaces spread over multiple levels, connecting the three buildings together. The power of landscape at AMLI MidTown lies in the set of spaces strung along the complex that create a whole experience, linking residents to the city while also giving them moments of respite.
At ground level the project creates rich urban connections with verdant vegetation.
